3 days festival for all the family | October 5, 6, 7, 2023
Artistic & General Management: Ravid Sevil

In October during the Succot Holiday Jaffa Theatre traditionally celebrates its 17th year, “The Jaffa Festival for Children and all the Family.” Every year the festival holds a variety of plays from morning until the afternoon.

The plays are in Hebrew, Arabic, bi-lingual, non-verbal and gibberish. In the last days of Succot the festival offers high quality, sweeping and meaningful content for parents and children at an equal price for all. They are exposed to the world of the other, different from theirs that speaks a language different from their own, language they don’t understand, but connect with their surroundings through colors, sounds, expressions and other stage gestures that produce empathy and curiosity in their souls.

In addition to ticket sales performances, outdoor performances are open to the public at the theatre square, enriching visitors’ experience at the festival.

The festival is in cooperation with the Tel Aviv Municipality, Department of Performances, The Mishlama of Yaffo and the Old Jaffa Development Company & Sites. With the Support of The Cultural Administration – The Ministry of Culture & Sports, Festivals Department.
