The Jaffa Theatre, known for promoting Arab Hebrew Culture, proudly presents its 18th Annual event, The Jaffa Festival for Children and Families, is held during Succot Holidays. This highly anticipated festival showcases a diverse range of plays throughout the day, featuring performances in Hebrew, Arabic, bilingual, non-verbal and Gibberish formats. Offering compelling and meaningful content, the festival creates an inclusive experience for both children and parents, all at an affordable price. By immersing themselves in a world different from their own, attendees engage with unfamiliar languages, fostering empathy and curiosity through vibrant colors, sounds, expressions, and captivating stage performances.
In addition to ticketed indoor shows, the festival also features outdoor performance in the theatre square, open to the public. This inclusion of outdoor events further enriches the overall festival experience for visitors. Encouraging encounters and interactions among individuals from diverse backgrounds, the festival acts as a natural catalyst for bridging identities, languages and cultures.
In collaboration with The Fringe Ensemble Theatre, Nazareth, Al Saraya Theatre, Almina Theatre, Scapino Ensemble, Ensemble Frechot, and the Gold Kipod Prize for Street Theatre.
The Jaffa Festival operates in collaboration with esteemed partners, including Tel Aviv Municipality’s Department of Performances, the Mishlama of Yaffo, and the Old Jaffa Jaffa Theatre.
