Jaffa Theatre, A Stage for Arab Hebrew Culture, traditionally celebrates the 20th Yaffo Festival for Children and all the family during the Succot Holiday. In the last days of Succot the festival offers high quality, sweeping and meaningful content for parents and children at an equal price for all. A variety of plays for children and all the family, from morning until noon in Hebrew, Arabic, bilingual, non-verbal and gibberish.
The festival aims to open a door for children, parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts to other worlds through stories, movement, puppetry, circus, music, imagination and humor creating a live, curious and shared encounter between audiences and cultures.
This year alongside long-standing partnerships, we established new collaborations with Train Theatre (Teatron Hakaron), Bardales Circus, Hageveret Theatre, Al-Ajial Theatre reserved seats and The Frechot Ensemble.
The festival is in cooperation with Tel Aviv-Yaffo Municipality, Performances Department, The Mishlama of Yaffo, The Development Company of Old Jaffa, and the support of the Ministry of Culture & Sports, Festivals Dept.
