Before us are two films by Amos Gitai: ״House״ is a canonical work that was produced 4 decades ago and won this year a renewed copy, ״A letter to a Friend in Gaza״ was shown this year in its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
“House” takes us to a house in the German Colony in Jerusalem that until 1948 belonged to the Palestinian doctor Mahmoud Dejani.
“A Letter to a Friend in Gaza” edited by Gitai a homage to the text of Albert Camus from 1943 that floods the question of return to Palestinian homes and villages, while incorporating texts of Yizhar Smilansky, Emil Habibi, Mahmoud Darwish and Amira Hass.
