It all starts with wireless headphones and a microphone and one “guru” with a stunning sound. A short warm-up and without your noticing you take off with us for an interactive experience of release and laughter.
We will wander, dance, sing, and will laugh ! We will get to know Jaffa with a new perspective and learn to fly together. Guru Zuzu Kids is a group of artists who love movement and music who have set themselves the goal of spreading release, playfulness and laughter.

The red fairy tale is a new performance by the Jama’a Ensemble that takes the story of Red Riding Hood to new pastures, for children between the house and forest between Red Riding Hood and the wolf, a performance full of imagination in a street body language.

Alex is a friendly and lively girl who loves to paint. Since the closure began, she has not found anything of interest even painting. She decides to be contrary and starts scribbling on the carpet. The scribble becomes a naughty being, creative and imaginative that sweeps her in a journey of pencils, erasers and papers. Together they learn to discover an abstract shape
and to switch a problem into an adventure, and mainly to learn to find interest in what was lost. A non-verbal play that makes use with paper, cut-out works, pop-up sets, and live drawing.

The show “Nomad” is a circus tribute to the nomadic figure and a physical comedy that has become identified with him through the work of cinema geniuses Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. A theatrical play that addresses two important subjects in our community:
The importance of hygiene, and the phenomenon of bullying.
The events of the show revolve around Aboud a cleaning worker, between reality and fantasy, the father travels with his son and daughter to a magical and beautiful village, but suffers from an infection because his cleaners fled, and because of the bullying of the villagers, and his son is harassed by his student friends because of his father’s profession.

Jaffa Theatre, A Stage for Arab Hebrew Culture, during the Succot Holidays, will traditionally celebrate its 16th year, “The Jaffa Festival for Children and all the family.” Every year the festival holds a variety of plays from morning until the afternoon. The plays are in Hebrew, Arabic, and bi-lingual. The festival offers high quality, sweeping and meaningful content for parents and children at an equal price for all, in the last days of Succot. They are exposed to the world of the other that is different from theirs that speaks a language different from their own, that they don’t understand, but connect with their surroundings through colors, sounds, expressions and other stage gestures that produce empathy and curiosity in their souls.

In addition to ticket sales performances, outdoor performances are open to the public at the theatre square, enriching visitors’ experience at the festival. The festival creates a natural environment of encounters bridging different identities, different languages and cultures.

The festival is in cooperation with the Tel Aviv Municipality, Department of Performances, The Mishlama of Yaffo and the Old Jaffa Development Company & Sites, with the Support of The Cultural Department, The Ministry of Culture & Sports, Festivals Department.
